Fine by me. Might be the best thing that happens to him. He can play with a chip for the rest of the season/playoffs and really make a point. Go for the Conn Smythe Scottie! That'll show 'em. I wish they'd have left Timmo off the list as well. He can always use the rest. Hell I'd like them to leave Giroux at home too...but I guess if they have to put on this meaningless show, the season he has had means they gotta include him. - Lexington Flyer

It gave the perspective of a former NHL player, and some insight into the situation. Very good article. - MJL
oh okay because I heard the same quote(s) a week ago, I'm glad Sam finally wrote an article about it and you liked it. How many stars would you give it? |

For a change, a good Hockey article written by Donellon.

I thought it was a good article and JR makes some good points. Bryz was excellent in years past, and for some reason here, he's struggled.
The comments on that article are beyond ridiculous and obviously a lot from people who have zero clue. I wonder when he gets things in order how they'll feel after having thrown him under the bus. |

If James Neal got in over him, he most certainly did. |

Once Bryz settles in and gets used to being under a media scope probe, he will pick up his game.
It does appear little by little he's getting his groove back. PHX to Philly = culture shock |

These's always injured guys who sit out the ASG. I wouldn't be surprised if Hartnall is pretty high on the list of replacements |

Not taking anything away from Neal, the guy is a great player with one of the better wrist shots in the game, but Harts is having an all star season so far.
Maybe people think its only because he is playing with the little genius, but Flyers fans who watch every game know Harts has been great, its not just due to Giroux.
wait, is Neal even on the list? |

I don't give a rats ass about the all-star game, but Alex Ovechkin has less points than Hartnell, while being a -8, (Hartnell is + 19) and Washington has been on the fringes of the a playoff spot all year. If Ovechkin's name was Vladimir Jerkov, he wouldn't sniff the all-star team.
The entire event is an absolute circle jerk, that no gives a (frank) about. Get rid of the damn thing. |

don't really disagree, but the tens of millions in all-star related revenues say otherwise. |

I feel that Jody Shelley deserves a spot in the AS game more than Hartnell.....
Edit: Or Vladmir Jerkov for that matter. |

That's really what it comes down to. Anyway, the meaningless nature of the ASG tends to multiply how much I care by zero. |
