It's ridiculous to call Bryz a bust after 3 or 4 months. The problem is a lot people out there don't have a setting between 1 and 10. It's a love/hate relationship anymore when it comes to athletes and sports.

it gets worse and worse tho. for every good caller you get on WIP, its followed by 10 that just makes me question how good Philadelphia fans are......not to be mistaken with passion. Philly fans are certainly passionate. it starts with the reporters. How many people covering the Flyers are worth reading? then you get something like the Bleachers report that is taken as reporting but its just a bunch of unqualified fans writing articles that 90% of the time make zero sense.

That's the trouble. You have one asshat saying the Flyers had no idea that Bryzgalov was a screwball, and others who constantly shred him for his personality instead of play, then get snippy when he doesn't want to talk to them.

I come here to read Bill, because he's the most knowledgeable and even keeled writer following the team. When I do read most of the others, it's because I see someone tweeting it saying, Jesus, he's acting the fool again!

It's like high school journalism. They're mostly ill informed and as bent on creating drama as they are on reporting a story that is actually germane. Also, when you piss them off, they write negative stories about you and hold grudges that last for years.

Nope. He blamed the after effects of eye surgery or some kind of procedure that made him loopy.
