I think Gleason is better than every defenseman on that list. Im willing to upgrade even if it cost me Harry Z. My plan would be to sign him and Suter and then my defensive group looks much better heading into next year. If they still want to trade JVR for another defenseman at some point so be it.

I agree he is better. But if I can get Hal Gill for a 3rd vs trading Zolnierczyk and a 2nd for Gleason, I'm going with Hal Gill.

Both Gleason and Suter are due to be UFA's in July. Nothing stopping you from signing him then.
