Hate the Senators but I don't disagree with Alfie making the team. It's about Alfie vs Vanek, it's about Vanek not doing enough in the eyes of fans to warrant being selected. From what I've watched, I don't think Vanek is deserving based on his play so far this year, relative to what others in the league have done.

5 days off. Better use that time wisely or will be "enjoying" 4 months off this summer. The Sabres just don't seem to have any priority, any leader, any passion. Same core that's existed for years and still not getting the job done. External help brought in and it's even worse. What is gonna give, and when, that is more relevant to me than whether TV makes the all star team or not.

I'd much rather no Sabres played in the All Star game. This team needs to get healthy. Take the rest when you can get it. Aside from the skills competition, I could care less about the All Star Weekend.

As far as mocking the All Star jersey wearing people. Bravo Frisco! I only make one exception to that.... if the jersey has "Campbell" or "Wales" written across the chest, it's ok.

Frisco anytime they go on the ice, anything can happen. They lose an edge go into the boards, hamstring pulls, shot hits player in head/ face...... So I never downplay the possibility for injury.....

I remember Briere getting laid out pretty good in the All Star game when he played for us.

As for Kaleta a humble fumble sucks in my opinion.How bout Pegs offering to pay any fines Kaleta accures by shananazi and Kaleta just goes out and plays his game.
