Just win enough games to get ahead of MTL in the standings, that's all |

If taking useless slapshot was a good thing, Brian Rolston would be the captain of the All Star team |

(frank) THE (frank)ING REFS IN THIS LEAGUE - i_Evaluate2
Nothing quite like the irony of watching MacDonald take a stick in the face leaving him bloodied only to watch Nabby get called for a ticky-tack trip mere seconds later. |

that call on Nabakov was kinda weak ... but those things usually even out over the course of a game. Isles had some good energy in the first. The Flyers are lucky to be up one zip. |

Agreed. Calls are calls, though. Happens all the time. Heck, if Grabner scores on the penalty shot and/or the Isles took advantage of their own power play, we're probably not talking about the call on Nabby at all. |

I think we all say this as hockey fans...it keeps us from going
Fortunately (or unfortunately) the awful goal by Nabby may make it a non factor. |

Man, I hope not converting on that PP doesn't turn out to be the defining moment. |

Hello Max. Welcome back to the Coliseum. - PeteM
I do believe Maxipad was trying to draw one by playing dead. It was a hard hit but seems sort of funny he was back on the ice half a shift later.
Tough loss tonight. The Isles maintained their step after the Detroit game but simply faced a sharp goaltender tonight.
Tavares is now averaging a point per game on the season and trails Henrik Sedin by 9 with 3 games in hand. Not saying he'll catch him, just saying how impressive that is playing on the leagues second lowest scoring team. |

So much for following up on the Wings win. This team is so predictable. |

Very tough loss for the isles. Can't catch a break. Once again an isles goalie gets outplayed by the opponents goalie |

Team played a pretty good game. A team that has had the season we have had so far would be expected to lay down and just get beat, but we put up a real good fight & KO is looking better & better every game... I was very down on him earlier in the year... He becomming the producer i expected him to be. LOTS of positives from this game.

yeah, that would figure that I turn off my computer after the 3rd goal and John Tavares would continue his scoring streak. Forty-one points in 41 games. But it wasn't enough. -Dee Karl
Not trying to be a Richard at all. But Dee he has 40 points in 41 games. |

No..he has 41 unless he got an assist taken away tonight. You did see he scored with 16 seconds left tonight right? |
