quotes from Sather:

We’ll look at hundreds of things and maybe do one trade. My only concern is ruining our team chemistry. It’s a big reason for our success so far.”Sather says that he listens to everyone who works with the Rangers and values their opinion.

It’s a delicate situation, but I think that everyone knows that this is a business and that any move that is made is only being made for the betterment of the team. If they make a move it will have to be for a guy that not only fits on the ice, but fits in the room and can join in with the camaraderie that this group has.

This, has to be the right move.

You can go ahead and get nasty and pissed off... but truth is truth. Sorry to burst your bubble. Dubi is what he is.

dude, nobody cares whether or not you will "never buy the hype" or "never jump on the bandwagon"

you are talking about stuff that's been argued on this blog for 3 years.

Nobody cares, we are trying to win a Stanley Cup here.

Team chemistry is paramount for such a young group. Glad Sather is aware of this and hopefully he can follow through on his words.

Trades are tricky, as nobody can really tell how well or otherwise a deal will work for the club. But in all honesty, there is nothing wrong with keeping your ears and eyes open. An upgrade offensively will go a long way; as long as the chemistry isn't tarnished.

It is what it is... there will always be people who like him regardless, and there will be people (like myself) who are more critical of him.

Even though I don't think its needed, I got a feeling with all the depth on the roster Sather has his eyes on something big. But first he wants to make sure this player is good for the organization before he pulls the trigger.

Ok so... onto more important things...

How do we slow down Toronto tomorrow? Last time we played them they looked like they were flying around skating around us.

We never know what Sather is thinking, but hes been good as of late, so lets keep our fingers crossed. Bobby Ryan has been a hot topic, but we also know he loves Ryan Suter.

nothing... absolutely nothing trumps getting your eye socket broken in a goalie fight!

matter of fact, when I heard someone got hurt eating breakfast, DP immediately came to mind.

another 4.5 million dollar year down the tubes. Priceless.

Edit: we lost 3-0 last night.. it could always be worse. This gives some good perspective.

He should honestly give that money back to the franchise, theyre struggling financially as it is. Than again, with all the injuries and surgeries, he might not have anything left.

just thinking back to the 2000 draft, I still find it inconceivable that the Islanders drafted DP first overall, bypassing Heatley or Gaborik, when they already had Luongo.

It is so mind boggling that that ever happened, and even if Dipietro didn't have a injury riddled career and a moronic contract, it would still be absurd.

Bill Torrey, The Architect, would never ever have done that in a million years.
