That sucks. He's been the most consistant guy back there since he was called up.
- dadeadhead

yeah, he actually played a few shifts after it happened, hopefully it wont be too long term, but you never know.

good fight tonight?
- Homer

didn't last to long but big Joe gave the guy much more than he could handle. Put him down after several solid rights....
world war three almost broke out at the end of the game.... both benches on the ice with several punches thrown. more civil heads prevailed.

Ups and downs, he hasn't looked bad when he has been up here I dont think. I guess they want to give Finley another look though.
- Homer

I dk why?

Big, slow, limited hockey IQ, can't fight for sh!t, and is a 1st rd bust.

I get it they like his potential.

Sorry I had to.

Does Garth have any idea what hash tags actually are?

I don't think 'muymacho' is a trending topic for McNabb anywhere but in Garth's head.

Regardless, good to see the Sabres win a game. Maybe they'll finally win 2 in a row?

But you guys are so much more entertaining! the better Sabres fans are much better than the Rags, and the worse fans (guess who!) are so much worse...

Watch him play more (if you don't already).

Pronger was nasty as a kid. His problem was alcohol abuse and attitude issues.

I'll take a sure thing over potential.

- dadeadhead

I watch Nashville way more than I care to and have never been impressed with Suter, I guess we just differ there.

Pronger took a long while to get to where he was and it took a guy like McInnis to learn from. Myers can and will be that good in my opinion.

Id like our chances on a brawl with Finley, Kassian and Foligno all on one side

I agree, I think Brennens going to be a good one, just going to take a little more time than most due to his starting hockey later

Rolston's call who comes up most times...they ask who is going the best and he makes a recommendation and Darcy usually goes with it.

That and our depth on the back end seems endless. Hope he doesn't get lost in a numbers game. Kid played solid when he was recalled.

I agree, why they feel they need to put so much effort into this kid when they have so many really good prospects of their own is beyond me

guess Darcy really believes the whole "size matters" thing

Fowler is their only untouchable on the roster. He and Myers as a pairing potentially could be dangerous.

I heard someone say his ceiling is a "nasty Brian Campbell" had seasons back then and watching Campbell's play in the early years was enough to make me want to tie up an IV Labatts drip most nights

...I know he is just playin a little late night armchair GM, trying to create what would seem like a fair blockbuster for both teams.

I honestly would move him in the right package.

You'd think when trying to prove you belong in the NHL, you'd give your all every shift in the AHL. All the talent in the world won't cover up being lazy.

I never would have brought him up until he was ready to stay but injuries force your hand sometimes.

Campbell was an absolute trainwreck(sorry if I offend anyone with this word) when he 1st came up. It took him 5yrs before he figured it out.

Pretty even trade but the ducks wouldnt be able to take all that cap hit in return that's like 20 mil going to the ducks and only like 10 or 11 mil going to buffalo

I would rather go for Weber via offersheet but my guess is Nash takes him to arbitration and elects a 2yr deal. They aren't going to be able to sign Suter and Weber.

If done at the deadline Anaheim will have 22 mil to play with per cap geek. They have 10 mil in space right now.
