Is she having 2nd thoughts about the break up?
And you should always throw it in her. |

That is the dumbest logic I have ever heard.
Plus, a one way contract means nothing. You can still send a guy down. The only difference is that he makes the same amount of money no matter which club he's playing with. A guy with a 2 way contract will still need to pass through waivers.
EDIT: And BTW, Staff didn't play on the same Rochester team as any of the other guys you mentioned. He didn't start playing in Rochester until 06 and the rest had been in Buffalo the season before. - HonkFortheGoose
A) Don't call me dumb
B) 1 way contract players have to pass througth waivers, hence 1 way. 2 way players do not, hence Zack Kassian for example was not available to the other 29 clubs.
C) I was implying he played for Rochester before we left them as our farm club. |

You can be on a 2 way contract and still have to clear waivers. That is determined by the age of the player and the amount of NHL games they've played. The contract itself has nothing to do with waivers. At all.
And I didn't call you dumb, I said the logic you used was dumb. There's a difference, don't put words in my mouth. |

2 way players have to pass through waivers also.
It depends is it an entry level deal, games played in the NHL, age, and ect.
2 way only means you make more if you're in the NHL and less if you're in the AHL. |

That's what I said in my first post. Apparently reading isn't very important these days. |

Ok well I will leave the Sabres board for the night so you can have an evening of believing that Paul Gaustad is in any way a peice of the puzzle required to win a Stanley Cup and not just tag-along mancrush. |

Believe it or not, guys like Gaustad are needed to win the Stanley Cup. Look at the Anaheim team that won the Cup. A huge part of their success was having a shut down line of Moen-Pahlsson-Niedermayer.
And no, I'm not crabby. You just don't have any reasoning skills and have no clue what you're talking about most of the time. When you get a clue, maybe I'll listen. |

I was listening to a thing with Kevin Dupont from the Boston Globe earlier today and he brought up this point:
the Bruins have alot of players that can fight and hit and play nasty, but none of them let that define their game, and that attittude reflects Cam neely's influence on the team
I thought that was interesting, and was thinking that is missing from the Sabres, the players let the little crap define their game instead of developing into a more complete player, and is that Lindy and the coaching staffs fault, is it an organizational attitude?
in a way the Sabres are letting the contract define the player instead of the other way around, and that hurts alot of the sabres players IMO

I think the organization needs to find a way to bring Peca into the fold. |
