I wonder if the new CBA will be revised to not "punish" teams who have players who have endured career ending injuries. A guy like Lappy would have loved to continue to play, but couldn't. Yet he counts against the 50 contract limit, I believe, which is stupid.
With the sensitivity involving concussions, I would think the CBA would reflect some type of modification for players with career ending concussions. - ravishingone
It's really not stupid. 50 contracts is more then enough to work around that. If a player is injured and is going to get paid, then the contract has to count. |

Respect your opinion, just don't agree with it because I think head trauma should be treated differently than a knee injury, I just don't think it is appropriate to broad brush concussions with other injuries, just my opinion which isn't even worth 2 cents.

I hear what your saying. But I don't think the League can treat a Concussion any differently then another injury in terms of the CBA and contract limits.

#Flyers Chris Pronger issues statement: "It is very, very tough right now. I don't feel well and it hurts so much not to be playing." - ob18
This is bs. I will defer to holmgren when It comes to injuries. Holmer said he looked a lot better just before he went on IR. They need to put a gag order on the big guy |

You're probably correct, I'm sure Fehr has other issues to agitate Bettman with during the negotiations.

Why do they need to put a gag order on him, and why is it BS?

I am in love with the idea that players talking is a bad thing.
Bad:
Pronger talking about his status
Bryz talking about anything
Good (AKA not talking to the media):
Bob, whose lack of talking to the media is why he's playing so well (per a conversation on WIP just last night)

I believe it's club policy that any injury related questions or concerns be directed to Holmgren |

Going back to the league's 15 most overrated players.
Who are the most underrated and who's at par to being what they actually should be? |

I've decided to use Seravalli as my clean substitute for the F bomb. "Clear the Seravalling puck!" "Write a good Seravalling article!" Etc.

No, that would be Lava's pat answer to all injury questions. |

Easiest to fit into a gerund, IMO. Also, he had potential to not be like Crankydi or Dramaccio. He looked geared to move into ASF territory until the Dumbkos "offer sheet" BS. |

Hey Peanut
Speaking of the Flyers, I'm sure hoping for some excitement tonight. These past 2 games have been snooze fests. Canes 2-1, Isanders 3-2. We won but BORING! |

No idea since it's before game time. Some may be out there but won't know if they work right now. |
