Got a good feeling that the Flyers are going to tie it. Felt like the breaks were going the other way until the Couts goal. Flyers played pretty well that period. Flyers knot it early with a goal by Hartnell and win it late on a blast by Mezzy. Let's go Boys!!

Aside from the injury bug, I don't currently have any scapegoats. I really like this team. Well there is Shelley, but aside from the contract, how problematic can a guy be when he has a dozen games on the season.

Brad disliked Bryz before he was traded here. I can handle ripping if it's been consistent and fair. Brad's been fair.

Agreed. I am on record as saying I wanted the Flyers to trade for Nabby and start Bob this season. I don't care if Bryz is the highest paid backup to ever suit up in the NHL. I want him and Bob to win the Cup.

It's easy to blame the goalie when you don't know how to follow the play. Bryz is the guy in net. If he allowed that small black thing to pass him and hit the back of the net, he's at fault.

His positioning could have been better on the first goal, but if he made the stop it would have been because the puck hit him. The second goal, I had as much chance on it as Bryzgalov did.

Has anyone ever loved a player before they got here? For me, I loved Ilya Brygalov before he became a Flyer. Chris Pronger, Danny Briere, Jason Smith, Ray Emery are another handful of players I loved before we grabbed them.

I alluded how, when Cou2rier was stoned by Rinne earlier, the shot was Carteresque. No different from poking fun at Hartnell about the thrown glove, etc.

BUT...

I was the one posting "Scapegoal!" when Carter scored last year to thwart the BS being posted about him being useless.

Listen, fans have a right to complain whenever and about whoever they want. That said, it's the pointing it out over and over that's agonizing. We all get it by now that Bryz has struggled some this year and Shelley is overpaid. Fans don't always have to be positive, but it's a hell of a lot more fun to talk hockey when they are. I'm no saint, but I believe in this team and its players. Let's get this game!

yup, last year I was happy that PHX got eliminated b/c I wanted Bryz to be a Flyer. LOL I was soo happy when the series ended I raised my arms in excitement which thhen got my wife up. lol she wasnt happy when that happened
