If the deal for Kane was going to be for Doan straight up, there is no way I think Cheveldayoff makes that move, and if he does, he should be fired immediately. I would think there would be a lot better return for the Jets from another team. The Jets need scoring depth and leadership. Doan may have the leadership ability but lets be honest here, his goal scoring ability is on par with what the Jets already have. If I am correct, he also has a NTC and I highly doubt he would wave it to come back to Winnipeg. Especially after the comments he made when the Yotes were destined for the Great White North.
