That Defense is called Pekka Rinne. Look at the amount of shots he has to face every game and tell me our defense is awesome. It's not. Rinne shuts the opposition down despite our defense most of the time. I will say that the defense was pretty solid against the Flyers despite the 38 SOG, but still, the Preds rely on Pekka to save the day quite often.

As for Lindback, he's a solid backup and I have no problems seeing him inserted into the starting lineup. In fact, I wish Trotz would do it more often and give Pekka a break.

I think it'll be a good, close game. The outcome either way won't surprise me.

He adds a lot he can tell the young guys about the days of old when Goalies did not wear helmets and when fighting was accepted by many. His experience alone gives this team that boost they need to over come anything

Rolston is a very honorable guy. He is not asking for a raise he just wants to help his team win.

You have to give him credit for trying to get healthy and play. But after a while it has to take a toll on you mentally.

When your rehabbing, you need a goal, and to stay positive.

I just can't imagine him wanting to try it again.

His knees, and hips are shot. He has a hard time going from post to post.
