Yeah, Its not like he has just forgotten how to play goalie. Or, just like that he is just done and over the hill.


He needs to be better for sure. He needs to adjust SOMETHING in his game to get it done. That being said, the team in front of him needs to stop waving sticks at shots and deflecting them, needs to stop forgetting to cover wide open players in the slot, and needs to find a way to manage the puck better in all three zones.

Bryzgalov was signed to help out the defensive breakdowns imo, and he hasnt helped much in that reguard.

That is no rumor, that is stone cold fact!





Also, the Flyers had no idea about Bryzgalovs penchant for talking to the media and being a generally gregarious and outspoken guy. They had NO IDEA!!! And did not do their due diligence in finding this out, thus being COMPLETELY taken aback by the way Bryz deals with the media.

The Flyers were caught completely unaware!

As for the breakdowns, I would say that for a team that has no cup aspirations, but this team should not be having this HUGE amount of breakdowns. And As I said yesterday, I have NEVER seen a goalie let up more "bad luck" goals in all my years of watching hockey.

Im in Bryzgalov's corner and will continue to back him. I just wish the results were much better. He has had some "bad luck" goals this year no question but when it keeps happening over and over people start to lose patience. I dont want to say its his defense or his competition that is hurting his game bc he needs to be better himself first.

I can understand the being sympathetic part, but she's obviously obsessed over it. I respect that they've adopted kids and are giving of their time and money though. I just don't see the need to go to that extreme. It's their life.

I'd really like to see Giroux shoot a little more. I think he's really trying to force some passes. When the dmen are forced to respect the shot it will open up those passing lanes.
