He would be a good fit for you. Not being a Richard but watching the flyers a lot I feel like this is the worst defense you guys have had in a long time. Not that it's terrible but you give up a lot more scoring chances than I ever remember - Isles316
i don't think you're being a richard, i think you're spot on, we need defensive help |

the panthers stand 21-14-9, in my book that's 21-23, ergo a losing record |

i like it when the flyers get it, although i hate giving up the 2nd pt, but yea a loss is a loss. you can't win a playoff series 3-1-3, in that case you go home, they move on |

When your team scores, stand up, clap a little bit, make sure you sit back down within 5 seconds. No one likes an opposing fan that stands up and overstays their welcome.
And in all honesty, you're probably fine in the bathroom. However, whenever I go to an opposing stadium, I ALWAYS go to the bathroom during play, and not during intermission/halftime. Same holds true a Flyers game. It's a madhouse in there in between the periods. Drunk fans will buy another beer, take a piss, and probably start sh*t with you in the bathroom, so I'd avoid it during intermissions.
I'm probably overhyping it, since I don't think fans get too confrontational with Isles fans. But you're with your girlfriend; I'd play it safe. - steelydan
I would recommend don't stand up at all. if you're guys do something good, fine, cheer for them. But for God's sake shut up about the home team. Don't ever talk smack about the home team. It's like going to someone's house for dinner and talking smack about their mom. |

I never remember the isles being able to out play the flyers like they did in a lot of that game Thursday night. Not that we can finish but I was surprised we were able to generate that many chances on you guys in the third |

yea, you guys did out-play us. the flyers with a lead, especially a multi goal lead, are an easy team to play against. when we have a 2 goal lead we almost want to give up that goal to make it a 1 goal game, i don't get it, it drives me nuts, but it is what it is and we're still a pretty good team so i'll take it |

It's just stupid to get a point for hanging in there, IMO. |

A loss should be a loss should be a loss, though. I mean, a shutout is a better win, but they don't give out three points for those. If they did, the Flyers would be in trouble. |

The 60 minute game ended in a tie though. So just like before the league moved to the 5 min. OT and then onto the SO, each team gets a point. The OT and SO just made another point available.
My pet peeve is that a SO win should not be worth as much as a "team" 60 or 65 min win. 3 pts for a 60/65 min win and 2 pts for SO win and 1 pt for SO loss. |

Id rather no shoot out, 5 min OT, 2 pts or 0 pts for win/loss 1 each for tie |

I'd go with a 10 minute OT, just to raise the possibility for a deciding goal.

I'd be fine with extending OT. Even doing 5 on 5 for 5 min and if no goal, then 4 on 4 for 5 |
