That is nuts.
I hate doing electrical work and am almost obsessive about making sure the circuits are dead. - MBFlyerfan
My dad throws the main breaker. I was at his house paying bills on-line and he shut down the whole house because a light bulb broke in the socket. |

When they kept the picks they took Marshall, Bodrov and Lehtivouri. - Jsaquella
their track record for drafting D and goalies hasnt been stellar, they need to hire the Nashville scouts |

As someone stated yesterday, I think, it takes some guys longer to adjust. Not sure the HBO cameras and attention did anything to help him along in that regard. - tangent_man
It may take him longer. And I'm not giving up on him. But it's time to put the team first.

Well Marshall wasn't out pick we traded umberger for Columbus's pick - griouxmvp2012
The Flyers still selected Marshall, regardless whose pick it was. |

It might take him longer to adjust, but he's got to find consistency, and eliminate the weak ones.
Even if he's been killed by deflections and poor defensive play, he's been generally allowing one softie per game. That has to stop. |

My old boss, when I did electrical work, used to use his fingers to see if a line was hot. I do not miss finding bare wires in crawl spaces. - Jsaquella

I'm not at that point. I think Bryz was told the team was his when they signed him and made him the starter on day one of the Season. He's been given plenty of time to adjust and get used to a new environment and teammates. For me personally, were at the point where Bryzgalov has to earn that status, not have it given to him. - MJL
I believe he was at the start of the season as well.. but things have not gone well, and anybody can see it isnt exactly his team now.. After the break I would give him 4-5 games in a row and see how he fares.. if its bad.. Bob is our starter. |

Yea but they got the pick that night so maybe they didn't do a very job scouting with limited time |

I have done that as well. But usually Ill just throw the breaker I am working on. I am obsessive because twice I have done electrical and the wrong breaker was thrown. Thus resulting in that somewhat uncomfortable feeling you get when being electrocuted. lol
Plus it is an old house and sometime wires get crossed or touch something you don't want them touching and get zapped regardless. Sometimes it is just safer to get a big flashlight and trip the whole house. |

I think old school electricians had a weird relationship with electricity.. my dad and grandpop use that trick.. if you do it right the current only travels through the fingers. |

The problem is that that has already been done. It's time to reward the player who is playing best with more playing time.

Let Bryz play against the weaker teams. This week they have the Wild, Isles, Devils and Bruins. Split it up. Just see to it that Bob gets the Bruins. I'm not saying that Bryzgalov has to play the bulk of the games, just that Bob needs to start playing against teams besides the weaker ones.
Bryzgalov beat the Pens, too, and played very well in doing so. - Jsaquella
I hear what your saying, but, Bryz's opponents shouldn't matter as much, (I feel), confidence issues, playing the stronger teams vs the weaker teams, I think most fans have less confidence, (at this point), in him then he has in himself.
Do you believe his 89% save is on him, or on that fact he has played stronger teams or has a defense that lets down in front of him?

Absolutely. And this is exactly the reason I was all for hanging onto Bobrovsky after the Bryzgalov signing.

I understand that.. my point is that at the break you give him one more shot to clear his head, get his confidence up and go. If it doesnt work, Bob gets the starts. |

Or he's very lucky. Electricity isn't something to mess with. One of my first jobs I was in an Entry Level position making 8 bucks an hour. They had me changing ballast in light fixture hot. The voltage was 277. That voltage kills more electricians every year then any other voltage.
