Keep in mind other teams would only really want players that are worth anything. That usually means giving up something you'd rather not in order to get someone else you want. That said, don't the Sabres have a ton of D prospects? That might be your best trade chip.

The only thing I can't excuse (cause I'm a lover, at heart) is complacency. The one thing that should make the powers that be sick is complacency. The players and the guy that signed them display very little but. How do you allow that? Does nothing but breed more of it.

Websters is going to update its thesaurus for both "Going through the motions" and "Mailing it in" to include the 2011-2012 Buffalo Sabres.

I drafted a bunch of talented old guys sans Malkin, and in 5 years I managed to make my entire NHL roster full of guys with at least 50% trade value, with 6 guys at 100% value. Sabres have won 5 cups in a row and counting!

Sad part of all this is, Darcy and Lindy will continue to have a job. The same players will still be here and the excuses will still be given. Until someone says enough is enough this is the product we will see night in and night out.
Some people don't like Miller I understand that I for one like Miller however, this team has left him hung out to dry tonight, yet another lazy ass game by a bunch of lazy ass players.
