I think Couturier should definitely get some time on the PP. He's hot right now, so it makes no sense not to give it a try.

As far as the point goes, I've never been a huge fan of a forward on the point. No forward on the team has exactly excelled there yet this year, so they might as well try someone new or let the defense handle it.

If Jake ever starts shooting, I think he's perfect. Great vision and his shot is surprisingly heavy, just doesn't use it too often.

They need to try something different on the PP. The main issue is the Flyers take too long with the puck before making a pass or deciding to shoot it. PP needs to have puck movement to open up lanes for clear shots. If they can get the defense moving it will open up more chances to score.

pretty much every game pronger has been hurt, he's been there. but it's more of an umbrella setup with that top unit with kimmo the only one at the blue line and jagr and voracek on the half walls.

I don't think it's a stupid trade rumor. We'd be very lucky to get both Schenn and Kadri for only JvR. I don't it's annoying because nothing has come of it but it can't just be talk if anyone is reporting it. The Carter for Voracek rumor went on for weeks before it actually happened. Same with the Flyers trading for Kimmo Timonen's rights. In this case, where is smoke, there might actually be fire.

They've had the problem for years of moving the puck around without moving themselves. Player movement creates lanes.
