a scratch can be changed anytime up until game time as far as i know.

A reporter saw that Schenn was getting extra work with Aulie and another defenseman after the team skate this morning and reported that he was a scratch. Komisarek is the scratch on D, Kadri is a scratch up front, but Burke says no deal imminent.

Burke did admit there could be a deal, but that nothing was going to happen right away.

I don't think that the Leafs are "trying" to trade Schenn or Kadri. I think they're trying to land a big forward in a trade, and may have to use one or both to make it work.

Also, Schenn isn't a scratch. He's in the line-up
