Yep. He's said the best they can hope for is to get some prospects, picks, and cap space and rebuild it from the ground up. - PLindbergh31
Well, Pegula is learning that you can't simply toss money at things and fix them...Will he learn from it or be another Dan Snyder? |

I got a good feeling about him down the stretch. - JoeRussomanno
Outside of the one goal, he was active and battling tonight. Good signs. |

Good question. I think the first moves that have to be made is Ruff and Reiger have to go. |

I think that's exactly why he was lousy in the second half of December he seemed to have no battle in the crease. That Callahan goal is a big example. Luv this crazy bastach hope he can get us a cup! |

(frank) that they can keep the (frank) tards they have now and hope they keep loosing. Glad the Sabers are blowing a goats ass.. and dont ya know now EVERYONE uses what Philly did, with the trades of Carter and Richie, as a example on how to trade away some core to get new, young frsh players into your system.... crazy aint it now the Flyers are trend setters after getting bashed to hell and back for trading both guys, now everyone praises them.... bunch of asshats |

They are...Who can they move? Miller? Vanek and Roy are streaky, Leino has been a disaster and others aren't producing. - Jsaquella
Time to go 2006-07 Flyers on them and waive Nedvedleino. |

The Sens are absolutely for real imo. Maclean and Hitchcock are a two horse race for the Jack Adams right now. |

Ville's a nice complimentary guy. You get him with the right guys and he can help you a lot. He's not the guy that will carry the line, though. |

No doubt. They have run their course. Coaches just don't last that long in any sport without winning a championship, Barry Trotz and Andy Reid are the two exceptions that I can think of. |

If you are going to trade youth, trade it for youth. The worst thing a franchise can do is trade young guys on ELD for older guys with big cap hits. The only way a team should ever consider doing it is if they think they are one player away. |

It's Hawkeye's fault:
Father: If anyone needs more gloves, I'll be glad to give you a hand! (He goes out, laughing)
Potter: Pierce, Hunnicut, you two have been a rotten influence on that man. |

Trotz I can understand. He's never had a ton of talent. Great goalies and defense, but little firepower.
Ruff's had very good players and teams. Maybe he would have won in 1999 if the NHL didn;t make a rule change between OT periods. |

Agree, the Flyers really did well by the trades made. Homer is the man... pots and pans |
