Exactly. Eklund saying nothing is imminent is the best news you can get .

Brings up sources telling him the defence isn't set. Or maybe he's just been following twitter where Paul Hendrick is saying Komisarek might sit and Jonas Siegel saying Schenn probably sitting. You can kind of infer they aren't sure who's sitting.

I hope that "game-changing" trade is actually made rather than just rumored, which is usually what happens via the Darcy Regier office.

So many different ways to interpret "game-changing":

1. Does Darcy actually accept a trade where he sees himself on the losing end of the deal? In other words dealing Roy for bag of pucks and getting rid of the biggest poison pill on the team?

2. Do we see Ryan Miller exiting due to his play and comments yesterday?

3. Does the rumored Myers for Getzlaf trade actually happen?

Also... could you explain how benching guys "puts the pressure" on other teams? Can you explain how this information is "intentionally" being put out there? It is pretty tough to hide a benching isn't it?

Kadri is out because he has played like garbage for a few games.
Schenn may not be out, but if he is, it is because he is the worst D on the Leafs by a good margin, AND Neil tuned him up a few times also.

If another GM thinks a guy is out because of a trade, they call to see if they can get in on the action. Quite simple actually.

EK has reported that nothing is imminent... please see past blogs about Heatley absolutely not being traded in the night, then 5 mins later he gets traded... and other blog deleted to save face...

So, the real story is that ofcourse Schenn and Kadri will be traded but his dog has not given him the answer to where and for whom... check back once the dog is back from his walk...
