You're referring to both the Prince of Wales trophy, and the Presidents Trophy right?

Neither of which the Leafs have won in the past half century?

I can't believe the Sens are now the Cup favourites. Amazing what 1 game can do.

Andersson first 30 gp, horrible....last 15.....best goalie in the league.
I'm not counting out James Reimer yet.....lots of season for him to turn it around.

Oh yes, how could I forget the Leafs domination of the regular season last year.

Here's a question. If you're not going to make the playoffs, would you rather finish 9th, or 15th?

That being said, I guess your answer would be 9th, seeing as you never have your first round picks.

What a joke.

riiiiight.

Sorry kid, can't have this conversation with you. You're too motivated to lower everyone's hype on Schenn you're ignoring massive deficiencies in other players.

If Liles wasn't injured, Gardiner wouldn't be in the lineup. Fact. They just need his puck-carrying skills.

- Big_Lightnin

Of course they need his puck carrying skills...cause Schenn cant carry the puck!
Liles has been in the line up most of the season along with Gardiner...you fool!
You're too caught up in the overhype for Schenn that you cant see his massive deficiencies.
No wonder you guys get made fun of so much....LOL

Show me how Gardiner has outplayed Schenn.....he's contributed more offense? better at even strength? show me.

With 4 minutes more ice time over 38 games, the offensive kid has contributed 3 less points? is behind Schenn in +/-?

- mykokes

and he's been aboslutely horrific on the PK. no idea why Wilson keeps putting him out there. Just not his skill.

hes been progressively better month to month..they showed is sv% month over month and it has improved every month...really since late november he has been playing solid.

reimer's problem right now is his confidence is broken whenever any players get near the crease..he doesnt challenge the play at all and is way too deep in his net...his glove hand has always been weak but he can work on that...hopefully he can get some confidence back and get back to playing aggresive and challenging shooters..

That Allaire in a nut shell. Block and cut off the angles for the percentages. You'll do ok.

Butterfly system is sound for 2.5 goals per night if you play calm and get in position correctly.

Monster is/was a reflex goalie who is being molded. His big body will work for the butterfly but he can't be so jumpy.

Reimer and Scrivens are perfect when they are on their games for his style but Reimer now has a subconcious pause when people are bearing in on him. Fallout from the concussion as his brain is trying to protect him. He has to get over it or his career will be done.

Miller is experiencing similar problem

I started watching it, it just reeked of Skyrim. I was liking it for about 10 minutes. Then all hell broke lose. The lead character actually runs more queer than Steven Segal. How is that possible?

Now that I can agree with, at his best he can get it out of trouble, and make the first pass.....for whatever reason, he doesn't kick his legs into high gear....

that's why Gardiner would make the ideal partner, when he gets stronger he can be schenn's PMD.

Few people pay enough attention to the Nashville Predators.....Weber is actually horrible at rushing the puck....Suter does the leg work, he's the quarterback, not weber......Weber though has that shot and a good hockey sense.

Dude, that is not possible... unless it is CGI.

Even then, how coul someone imagine or emulate someone running gayer than Steven Segal?

holy poop, I thought you were brighter than this.

Gardiner was taken out of the lineup 3 weeks ago, sat for 6 straight games. The ONLY reason he got back in the lineup is because the PP and overall puck carrying has suffered since Liles has been injured, WHY? because nobody else can carry the puck either. If Liles as not injured, Gardiner would be in the AHL.

I'm not a Schenn apologist by any means. I love the way he hits, really want him to reach his potential, but I hate his inconsistencies.

Yes I have played the sport and I know that the 'important' players shouldn't be fighting unless it's under rare circumstances. I've played enough to know tht your 3rd and 4th liners are the guys who do that stuff (again unless under rare circumstances).

Listen, it wasn't a 'heat of the moment' play. Phaneuf had more than enough time to compose himself before going in and challenging Foligno.

And to whomever said 'you don't back down'. Well it wasn't a matter of backing down, buddy. Phaneuf challenged Foligno!

As for talking about other players that do it. Sure, sometimes they do it, but it's extremely rare.

You see Chara fight much anymore? He broke his hand fighting when playing for Ottawa and since then he's learned his lesson (and his coaches have told him not to fight). He's just too important to his team.

- Charliebox

What is your real name? Bob McKenzie? Steve Simmonds? Damien Cox?

Why is it that people outside the game want so badly to change the game? Those idiots make their living off hockey but think they know better than the people running the game. It's like the parasite running the host.

Other way around. Dion was there and Foligno challenged him.
- Brian Huddle

Dion was there? haha..

Dion made a horrible pinch in (but it wasn't horrible because his intent was never to get the puck) and then kept hitting Folgino until Foligno finally said, 'let's go'.

Watch this replay.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNbdw_ezJ7E

Start at the 1:04 mark.

If that's just a regular pinch-in, that's the worst pinch I've seen in a long time. Dion didn't even look at the puck.
