However, what an embarrassment Phaneuf is. Play acts after a hit, then ducks from Spezza later on who was getting in his face (LMAO). Then only decided to fight big bad Nick Foligno after Rosehill chased him around for a bit and realized he was looking like an idiot for not doing anything himself as captain

Asides from that, thought the Leafs played a good game but Anderson kept us in it until we pulled our heads out of our asses and started outplaying you. Too many individuals on your team though. Everyone trying to carry the puck through the neutral zone without passing. Stick check after stick check from our guys in the 3rd period

Can we stop with this? Burke met with Schenn and told him he's not going anywhere, unless a GM offers him a deal that he cannot refuse. Burke probably highly overvalues Schenn. He's not getting traded.

leafs definately need to get bigger up front. early in season, they had speed to burn, they were out skating teams on a constant basis. now, they're looking a little tired and small.

2. Not even a week ago, Dion took a shot too the face and still fought.
3. I don't care if we're playing tim bits hockey, if someone hits your captain like that, one of the other 4 guys on the ice have to step up and (frank) him up.

I believe in our goaltending.. Gus won 4 in a row with 2 shutouts, and Reimer has played great before. Leafs always do well in the last half and i think its only a matter of time before people are praising optmus reim again. If the leafs don't win 3 of the next 4 then we have a problem.

Sens are relying on vets, and one young player. Leafs are relying almost entirely on youngsters. Sens didn't rebuild.

The only thing we can be jealous of is a hot goalie, and a better coach. And the latter is something we should be jealous of almost every team in the league for.

They've been struggling for sure, but I'm far more concerned with our coaching problems and lack of size/impact centre up front.

Goaltending would come around with a better coach and some help up front (somebody with size, ideally). We out-shot our opponent tonight, but like most nights, have trouble holding onto the puck and keeping it deep in their zone.
