Every Center can play 18+ minutes a night as well as PP time. Hard to come to that opinion when you don't even know who those "3rd line level" Wingers are. Look at the depth at Wing for the Flyers right now. No Center is short changed with talent on his Wing, on the top 3 lines.

2 key words. I'm not saying move them right now, I'm saying next year. In 2 seasons is JVR still with the team? Do they resign Hartnell and Briere? If they dont... then what? I would still rather have Schenn or Couter playing 1st line wing then 3rd line center.

Obviously when I said that we don't even know who the Wingers are going to be, that I realize it's in the future. And you further my point by asking is JVR still with the team etc. I want the team to get stronger defensively. There is more then the offensive side of the puck to consider. And moving Briere to Wing, helps with that. As I feel that all 3 of Schenn, Giroux, and especially Couturier, are better defensively. More to the game then just goals.
