What im saying is Giroux is up against other teams top lines, something he didnt have to deal with last season. Giroux needs to play better defense, his offensive game will come around again.

He doesn't prevent anyone from getting hit. That's kind of my problem. If you have an enforcer, that's kind of his job. To prevent guys from getting hit or to at least get retribution when it happens.

Shelley and his lone fight aren't providing that service right now.

Simmonds, Read, and Couturier have been their best forwards the past 4-5 games. I hope they keep this line together for a while, and give them ice time. Make the other guys start earning their time again.

I can't believe the flyers had 40 SOG, it seemed like the forward were constantly chasing Islanders forwards back into their own zone.
