He's had it at times, at others not so much. It'll depend on whether the rest of the season looks more like his dynamite early season, or like his lackluster early January play. And then, of course, there are factors external to Jagr that may impact this determination.

I agree Jagr has been great. But the Flyers have a lot of young guys that are going to need increased time. Such as Couturier and Read who both have spent time on the 4th line, as well as Schenn. We also don't know what trades could happen and who is moved. So if there is an open spot, then I'm sure they'll look at bringing Jagr back.

Cant hurt to have Jagr around another year. Like I said, I dont think any of our wingers are ready to be number 1's, and can only get better with another year watching and learning from Jagr. And he will probally come at a slight discount, maybe 2-2.5 million range.

Then after next season we will have Timonen, Briere, and Jagr's cap hit off the books, and hopefully by then the youth will be ready to step up. But if I'm the Flyers I dont give Couturier, Schenn, or Voracek a contract until they earn it. Unlike JVR's contract.
