we gotta keep Sutton til the end of the season. He keeps the other team honest
Stauffer said he reads your blogs on oilers now(today) - jaredwildzee
Yes, I know he reads them. He's classy about it. He admits I am "humorous" but he's not sure how connected I am. He's right...not connected at all, actually.
Some media people like Stauffer are good about this gig of mine, and some are babies. |

Or one other option is he gets healthy, gets his poop together and plays like he did last season before he got a boo boo on his ankle and turned to crap - ruttager17
It'll never happen, he has a chronic foot problem.
Hell play 20 games every year, and it'll kill us in the new Cba when Ltir counts against your cap. |

With lucky, the Oilers can get collectively health in time to assist us in dealing Hemsky, Belanger, Khabibulin, and anyone else who doesn't fit into the long-term plan. I also hope the Oil deal Smyth and Sutton with the intention of re-signing them in the summer as UFA's. Both players, if they love the Oil, should volunteer to be moved because doing so would bring in, at the very least, a couple of decent draft picks (maybe a 2nd for Smyth and a 3rd for Sutton). - Maxbone
At this point I would rather keep Sutton to resign then hope he will agree to be traded and sign in the offseason. As for Smitty, if he agrees to it I would pull the trigger for sure as you know he is coming pack here next season.
As for Belanger I don't think he is going anywhere and I am fine with that. I have no problem with him playing on the 3rd or 4th line. Unfortunately people think he is redundant with Horcoff here and people are dwelling on his off year offensively. This year is done so I don't care about his offense, he does help us in the circle and pk, yes he should be on the pp as much as he is but really at this point it doesn't matter. The main reason I have no problem him staying here is that he can and has helped RNH develop his faceoff skills and that it as a win win for us. |

I like Belanger. He Is a defensive wizard. Hell eventually find his stroke offensively. |

Sutton is a 2nd pairing defenseman. I hope we don't trade him. Like to resign him to a 2 year contact.
Stauffer is the best. He probably reads Cloutier for a good laugh, no offense Boner. - Pilgor09
Me too Sutton is awesome,Ya he didn't cut down cloutier or HB(Stauffer) |

well then katz needs to give him a key to the pharmacy so he can put some GH, cortisone and whatever else he needs in there so he can play. He wont be able to walk when he is 40 but who cares if he gives a few good years and helps to win another cup - ruttager17
I hope he retires. Clearly he has problems.
(frank) our defense is terrible though. |

Yeah he's underrated.
Well Cloutier offers his opinion, even though I think he is out to lunch, and he is usually wrong, he is a good writer. |

If Taylor Hall now looks like Harry Potter with lightning scar, I'm voting Olli Jokinen as looking most like Voldemort

Read through Cloutiers blogs through out the years. His track record of making a fool of himself speaks for itself. Don't want to make him feel bad. - Pilgor09

As for Eager on the 1st line, heck why not. He seems to play better the more mins he gets a game. I would seriously like to try him with Eberle and Rnh for a game or 2 he has the wheels to keep up with them and has some scoring ability plus the muscle wouldn't hurt. |

Youd take Grigorenko over the generational talent in Yakupov?
