That's BS and you know it. I said the Devils, the 95 incarnation in particular, would have the best example. The other two they had Elias and Gomez who really were big parts of their wins.
Ducks had Getzlaf. Again. You really can't argue that point. He was a monster that year.
Bruins had Kerjci and Bergeron. Debate if you like but they were both just a hair under PPG in the playoffs. highly doubt they win without them. - GuyLaDouche
They may have played great, doesn't mean they were great. After all Pisani played great yet he certainly wasn't great. |

So none of Getzlaf, Krejci, Bergeron, Elias or Gomez are/were great players? |

good work by Sutton. the Blues needed a 5-on-3. they haven't been dominating this game at all. |

I am not sure that I keep smytty at the deadline... He seems to be a similar liability as horcoff now the last month + of games... Both slow and out of gas... Or is smyth injured or just playing like poop so he has no trade value??? Kinda obvious he stinks lately... |

Every where I've played that's the defensmans (petry's) check, covering the man coming from behind the net. |

Elias is prodominatly a winger.
The rest are pretty darn low standard for "great" (at the times their team won the cup) - Zombie

Well that's the (frank)ing problem. Is like fans looking for a #1 center. Unless they are 100 point guys that play a physical two-way game then you aren't considered a #1 to most.
Also Getzlaf has to be considered great at one time. |

Ya most expectations are way out of whack.
But to be considerd great, I think you better be top 12-15ish at your position at your position and or consistantly produce at a 75+ point rate. |
