i have to disagree here
the stuff during stoppages in montreal is just as nuts. and you have to hear it all twice.. in french, then english - Crimsoninja
Then it's changed since the last time I was there. Or maybe it's different during the playoffs. It was very civilized. But yes, it was English (guy) and French (gal). |

well, i don't get to go to games often. When I do, and I kid you not, every time they show that guy, the Flyers give up a goal on the next shift or shifts. He is bad luck to me. That's reason enough to stop it. - wilsonecho91
Hmmm. I believe this means that you, sir, are the jinx! |

Nashville knows that they dont have the firepower to be a legitamate cup contender in the Western Conference. I think their a very, very good hockey team bc they play great defense and have an elite goaltender. The West is so deep with talent and the top teams all can do what Nashville does but with offense also. - stveshdy
True, but they would also like to get to the second round of the playoffs. Every home playoff game means more revenue. Revenue they can use to re-sign Weber and maybe Suter too. Once you get in anything can happen. |

It was rough biting my lip, the kid was totally out of control kicking me, and just going totally apepoop. It's not worth saying something and potentially having a confrontation. - PLindbergh31
Dude, you paid good money to watch a hockey game, you have every right to say somethign to them. But if your afraid of a scene then all you need to do is talk to an usher... |

That's all well and good, and I mostly agree (I don't share the outrage against the dancing guy at all, though honestly I wouldn't be heartbroken if he were cancelled), but don't hold your breath waiting for this to happen. They're doing what they feel they have to to attract as many people as possible, from the hardcore hockey fan (who'll come for the hockey regardless) down to the guy who's a fan of Philadelphia teams because all his friends are. I don't think it's the proper way to cater to the non-dedicated fan, but I sincerely doubt it's going to change anytime soon.
poop, I'd settle for just turning down the music a bit. - BulliesPhan87
Please use the Contact Us feature on the Flyers site and let them know. I swear they think I'm the only one who cares. It is better than it was early in the season, but the guy with the volume control went to Gallaudet. |

Nashville isnt a big market. The management is saying all the right things but there is noway they can sign Weber, Suter, and Rinne to huge contracts and expect to compete. Where are they going to be able to afford offense at? They wont have any cash to upgrade that area unless they find hidden gems from draft picks, which could take years. I dont know if they will trade Suter bc they will be in the playoffs, but they have to seriously consider it bc their going to get nothing for him at the end of the year. Nashville needs to make that trade to keep themselves afloat with talent, their not going to spend big money in the UFA market. |

Down.. and my fiance doesnt complain to me so long as I do three things (putting the seat down is one of them).
1- Seat down
2-Take out the trash
3- make sure my stuff isnt laying around.
I have a pretty sweet man cave in my new house (and @24 its my pride and joy) where I have my Xbox360 and Beermeister.. she doesnt bother me unless 1-3 are being violated. |
