Did you spend a lot of time whistling the theme to Andy Griffith? I know when it was on in reruns and my Dad would watch it when I was a little tyke I whistled along with him. |

My dad tells me about that stuff all the time.. Hell there are even old posters and stuff that portray that exact scene. Dad in a recliner the family sitting around him..
Now its more like.. mom and dad on different computers, the kids snorting crack out of a strippers ass crack, and the dog cleaning the dishes... |

My wife is a Flyers season-ticket holder. My mom introduced us at a Flyers game 2 years after my first wife died.
We share the TV for Xbox (she plays Skyrim, Fallout games, and even NHL 12 in both HUT and Be a Pro modes). We both leave dishes in the sink and put them in the dishwasher when there's a smell or they overlap the top of the sinkwell.
She shares her laptop with me, allowing me to post here or on Twitter while watching Flyers games together.
I thank God every day and every night. - Flyskippy

My dad was an excellent whistler. Like Whistlin' Jack. (And no, I'm not really old enough to remember HIM.) |

You know, when I was a little girl there was one tv. And dad's downtime was precious, so he got to decide what was on when he sat down. And we were so desperate to spend time with dad that whatever he watched became our favorite thing.
And I've always been leery of guys who complain about demanding significant others. They did actually meet the woman before they got married/engaged, right? - bodiva88
My wife doesnt complain if I watch the Flyers, its my daughter that does and shes two.
Shes my little angel, hard to tell her no. |

Dont knock the dog cleaning the dishes. Chahuahua's are portable dishwashers IMO. |

She is a very hands on person.. the way she was raised.. Her entire family is from outside Rome.. so they are a bit old school. I handle the yard work, cook, and the bills.. she maintains the house. Its a great match. |

It was rough biting my lip, the kid was totally out of control kicking me, and just going totally apepoop. It's not worth saying something and potentially having a confrontation. - PLindbergh31
Should have gone all Milbury on the kid. |

Oh, wow, do I understand that! I have the same issue. Now (frankin) Diego is on at 8:30, so by the time that is over a normal 7:10 start time game is already in the third period.
I feel your pain, sir. - dcflyerfan71
Nick Jr. Here is the other option. I bought a small dvd player for her and got some movies she will watch so I can use the TV. But then she gets fed up and wants to watch it on the big TV and there goes the game. I usually put her to bed between 8-830. Miss half the game on those nights. |

That is great. I liked the bit about the skydiving too. It's nice when the female feels confident enough to take the lead sometimes. Sounds like you guys have a bright future ahead together.
