If anyone seriously thinks we are afraid of playing against Derek Roy 6 times a year, you're fooling yourself. They've been trying to unload that herpe for a year and a half now, so NO... Buffalo is not concerned about that in the slightest. They are however more concerned with paying him top dollar for mediocre at best performance. Tell me again how Ottawa let Chara skate to Boston in the same conference and anchor the back end of a cup winning team. There is no deal that won't be made because of having to play against Derek Roy. As for my previous post, I'll retract Subban... No way in hell you give up young talent for Derek Roy... My bad I'll own that statement. |

Not going to get into a pissing match but:
Myers: 8 points, -8, avg. 22.50 TOI (2nd on team), 36 hits, 43 blocked shots
Subban: 18 points, +0, avg. 24:00 TOI (1st on team), 59 hits, 63 locked shots
Talk to me about overrated when Subban shows better stats in every single category. - willey101
LOL okay we doing this? So if Subban isn't overrated with only a 0 rating and 18 points... with 24 minutes of ice time... (not to mention his 47 giveaways...) and a very low number of hits.
That would mean SCHENN is very UNDERRATED by your standards.. seeing as he has ( 13 points, a +3 rating, avg. 16:34 TOI with 151 hits and 67 blocked shots..)
If schenn had the Ice time of Subban he would probably have more points and a similar rating... with a poop ton more hits and blocked shots..
Just so you know as well I think Schenn is nothing more than average and would be happy to trade him in something that gets us a big center. Just showing you how overrated Subban really is.
So maybe the rumor floating around about JVR + Read for Schenn and a prospect/pick do make some sense. Especially if JVR is damaged goods now. |

I'm willing to bet that most NHL scouts know exactly what Plekanec can do on the ice regardless of how much he may struggle right now. The whole habs team is struggling, but that doesn't mean their players have no value at all.
He's on pace for a 55pts season... and he's struggling on a struggling team.
Leafs fans are praising Grabovski who's on pace for 50pts with career high of 58pts...
What is Grabovski's worth? Nothing? - Pecafan Fan
FOCUS... he's talking to you about your team.. the Habs... |

Ted Black was on WGR550 yesterday and stated there is a commitment to win hockey games, not to any core player. Just because Miller says he hasn't requested a trade means nothing. It's up to management to decide who stays and who goes. If the
"Great One" can be dealt, so can Ryan Miller. His last two starts give up 9 goals and he has won 3 of his last 12 starts, you don't build a team around those numbers...
I'm hoping that Miller gets dealt for Niittymaki after this conditioning stint as a package with Boyes for Andrew Desjardins and the negotiating rights for Ryan Clowe. The playoffs are a dream for Buffalo now, it's time to start building for the future. |

Kinda really amazes me how people turn on players.
Trading Miller would be the biggest mistake the Sabers could do. But you know, go ahead, cause we need people to laugh at other teams for a while. |
