so if montreal is going after roy they either

1) give up picks or prospects (which only playoff teams should do)
2) give a similar player (which would make sense maybe for buffalo but leaves mtl in the exact same situation)

if i was a mtl fan id be so pissed that its quite obvious goofy gauthier is gone but the deadline is coming and he still gets to make the decisions.

when is mtl going to wake up and just accept rebuilding instead of the constant rebuilding.

i almost feel sorry for mtl, this nightmare has no end in site.

unlike most Leaf fans I am sensible I don't overvalue our players.... Montreal does with every one of theirs.

Schenn isn't worth JVR + a 1st like morons are reporting.. nor do I think Kadri + schenn and a 1st could get us Getzlaf/Nash like most the idiot fans do, for Bobby Ryan maybe.. but not those two.

The only people on our team I would consider right now untouchables are Phaneuf, Kessel, Lupol, and Gardiner(who's not having a good yr but I see potential) everyone else would be an improvement in a trade I am sure.. so do not tell me I overvalue my teams players.

Trading Miller would be the biggest mistake the Sabers could do. But you know, go ahead, cause we need people to laugh at other teams for a while.

So you're amazed that an athlete who is paid millions of dollars to play a game could be " turned on" by fans. This is professional sports, it's a what have you done for me lately league and as of late Miller has put up numbers that rank him behind most back up goaltenders. Peyton Manning is a god in Indianapolis and will be standing in the unemployment line come March, why because that's the business of pro sports, no matter what you've done in the past, the future is what damns these athletes. And with Millers numbers GAA, save%, win-loss, he doesn't deserve to stand between the pipes. In my opinion he needs to earn every single start by improving each of those stats, most importantly win-loss. Ruff rode Enroth to the playoffs last year andrade a HUGE mistake by starting Miller costing the team a trip to the second round. Ride the hot guy not the head case that can't backstop two consecutive wins in two months.
