You mean one big fight? Or square off? - hscesq
Thats your call. I think a giant 'Anchor Man' type fight would be mildly entertaining.
We get Brick though. . . |

To each his own. Myers isn't nearly as mean as Chara though, and you can't teach mean. But you are probably right about being untouchables. - hscesq
Chara was not either when he was 21 years old. |

No fcking way I want Kostitsyn anywhere near this dressing room or to ever have the privilege of werain a Sabres sweater .
No thank you , once again to anyone on the Montreal roster . I will gladly take picks for Roy but not any waste on that roster .
That roster is far worse than Buffalos . - TerryPegs

So you're amazed that an athlete who is paid millions of dollars to play a game could be " turned on" by fans. This is professional sports, it's a what have you done for me lately league and as of late Miller has put up numbers that rank him behind most back up goaltenders. Peyton Manning is a god in Indianapolis and will be standing in the unemployment line come March, why because that's the business of pro sports, no matter what you've done in the past, the future is what damns these athletes. And with Millers numbers GAA, save%, win-loss, he doesn't deserve to stand between the pipes. In my opinion he needs to earn every single start by improving each of those stats, most importantly win-loss. Ruff rode Enroth to the playoffs last year andrade a HUGE mistake by starting Miller costing the team a trip to the second round. Ride the hot guy not the head case that can't backstop two consecutive wins in two months. - Lord_Stanley716
Yeah.
Get rid of a top 5 goalie for a few bad months of play.
Brilliant. |

Chara fought his way to the NHL, then learned to play hockey when he got there |

Kostitsyn is only signed till the end of this year and we would get a very talented youg center. . . |

so my guess is theres no other info to this rumor...
...as people mentioned wgr550 talked to TSN's BobMcKenzie where he stated earlier today that montreal had some intrest in roy but had no idea what the deal would pertain. pretty sure where this whole thing got taken out of perspective...
was actually hoping this would happen. |

Why would Montreal do this?
I would rather have Eller than Roy.
I would rather have Subban than Myers.
::EDIT::
Actually if I was montreal I would rather have Myers. They need all the size they can get.
But if I hear correctly from Buffalo fans Roy is a poison, and I wouldn't want him on my team if that's true. - Scruffton
Really? Are you kidding?
Personally, I'd say Derek Roy >>>>> Eller, and Myers >>>> Subban.
That said, yeah, there is an element of Derek Roy being another small player that the Habs really shouldn't have in their lineup. From a team need standpoint, you can make the case that Eller is more of what the Habs need. |

Schenn isn't playing the minutes Subban is. They are asking him to do WAY too much, and he is putting even more on himself. He's having an awful season, to be sure. - hscesq
Yet when they both played those minutes last season averaging 22 minutes a game, subban where I will give him credit for getting 38pts. He is very undisciplined and had 124 penalty minutes.... Liability on the ice.
Schenn still managed 22pts a rating better than subban with (-7) subban had (-8) oh yea Schenn lead the league in hits for a D man and was in the top 15 in blocked shots and had 34 penalty minutes...
all those penalty minutes aren't worth the 16pts compared to Schenns hits/blocks and still putting up 22. |

Standings ?
There seriously is not 1 player on Montreal that I want back for Roy .
Does that hurt your feelings ?
I would much rather have the picks or pick for Roy just to get rid of him, his cancerous aura and his salary .
I dont want anybody from that Hab roster donning a Sabre sweater .
Nobody ! |
