That is true. Oh well. Looks like there is suddenly a need for a forward just as much if not more then a defenseman. - PLindbergh31
Not really. They'll get those players back. No reason to panic and make a trade. Unless some of those injuries turn into a long term thing. And right now, no reason to beleive that they are.

We'll see if Rinaldo can go, it might be 3. They also said Couturier suffered a head injury but is not concussed. But we know how that goes. - MJL

Everyone in the game, including Shelley, played well. There is a lot more positive things that went on in that game. - MJL
I don't think Briere or Schenn had good games. Briere looked completely lost. Twice he got tangled up with Voracek near the blue line. On one shift in the first period in our zone he left his man and repeatadly tried to cheat up to get the outlet pass. He looks lost now, as lost as after Prospal and before Leino.
I admit I did not see some of the recent games, but I did not see anything to rave about from Schenn today. He seems to often turn it over or make poor decisions in his own zone.
Both the pp goals occurred partly b/c three Devils got mesmerized by Giroux when he had the puck on the stick and stopped paying attention to their man. But I thought that Giroux's line was very mediocre 5-on-5. |

I assume guys have to go on LTIR to accommodate the call ups. Do the days during the all-star break count as days missed? |

I thought they played a solid team game today. And I didn't feel that any player stood out as having a bad game.

No they do not have to go on LTIR to accomodate the call ups. Just IR.

7 different players with concussion in half a season is an absolute (frank)ing joke.

They can go on the regular IR. They can put JvR retroactively back a few days for the roster spot. Cap not an issue |

He was good, two games in a row now. Wild and Devils aren't exactly offensive juggernauts, but hopefully he has turned a corner. |

Would you rather have Vishnovsky or Lydman from Anahiem? |

Thanks. Regular IR is 7 days, so the players would only be ruled out of the Bruins and Panthers games correct? |

Vishnovsky is the superior player, but also has the bigger hit. |

Yeah has to be a week. JvR can be retro'd back to his last game, so if he's ready to go against Florida, he could. |
