Hartnell has been great. He's been a very good player his entire time with the team. Anybody who says differently, is just a knucklehead. There are times he's frustrating to watch. But that's the same with any player.

I always thought of him more of as a goof. He also tends to have his long droughts when he really struggles, but so does every other player.

I wonder what it would be like with a guy of his attitude to have the C. Id worry he is too much of a "funny guy" but it could be a good move.

I think he could find the happy medium between the jokester and the leader. The younger kids would really gravitate to him and you'd have a good locker room atmosphere, but that's just my opinion and thats's if Pronger cant come back.
