My only concern is if you were to play Boston in a seven game series can the Flyers defense hold up playing two rookies (Bourdon and Gustafsson). - stveshdy
they might need to rotate lilja in there in the playoffs. i really like the contributions of bourdon and gusty so far. i didn't realize how quick gusty is. very, very fast. and he shows a lot of poise and patience with the puck under pressure. |

I really hope Sestito earned a permanent stay here. The kid will get better with time and we could have one heckuva third/fourth line guy. |

In defense of cough those people, Sestito hasn't been in the lineup all year either But yea, I feel good about this game I really do despite the outcome. I feel even better about our chances in a series against Boston than I did 5 weeks ago that's for sure. - JoeRussomanno
Yea, but Rinaldo gives you what Sestito did today.

My concern in a seven game series is even if they can play them like this, would anyone be alive still by game 4. |

Yes and no. I don't see Rinaldo holding up against Lucic or throwing checks on Chara every chance he gets. |

which is why if we can get a Gill or a Gleason our chances become much better |

Yea, you might have a point there. Sestito is a much taller player. |

I don't know I think you're comparing a shotgun to a bazooka. I mean Rinaldo isn't gonna take a run at Chara like Sestito did. That and didn't he send someone through the air again. My lord I'd rather play against Rinaldo than that Sasquatch. |

When your making the money Bryz is people expect him to give up nothing more than a goal per game. |

I agree with Sesitio in he can go pound for pound with Chara and Lucic, He is big enough so he wont get pushed around |

Yeah, he turned on the jets a couple of times today when I was worried about a break and broke it up. I am happy with them.
It was a very entertaining game. And I have to say losing in the shootout is a heck of a lot better than I expected when I left the house. They never gave up. They played physical. And Hartnell is a berserker with sudden depths unplumbed now. Five in two games? Sheesh. |

I forget the player, but he had an opportunity to bury someone in what would've definitely been boarding and a likely suspension and he let up. His play is a 180 from the preseason. |

Read and Giroux I can understand. Simmonds is a puzzling choice. So to speculate it's one of two things. Either based on results in practice. Or rewarding Simmonds for his play. He has been a horse along the wall, and at the net, and was the same in today's game. - MJL
I think I'd have gone Couturier in the shootout. But I can't say I expect to win many shootouts ever. |

One thing the Flyers have going for them is depth. They played without alot of guys today and still did a great job considering Boston is pretty healthy. |
