Group shot of the annual Slapshot Mascot Hockey Game between periods of a NHL hockey game between the Washington Capitals and the Carolina Hurricanes on January 15, 2012 at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.
What the heck is the Orioles mascot doing there?

That he's having just as good a season as last year when he won another Vez and set a record for highest SV%?
Dude ok so he allowed the same amount of goals as Thomas he matched him... WOOT WOOT.
That's like a game ending 10-10 and being happy that Bryz matched the other goaltender - Yosimar89
He's not talking about the amount of goals allowed. He's talking about how each player played.

I defended Bryz on the first goal and was summarily told, "You forgot about the $51 million."
I asked who was in charge of the backdoor, because that's not the jurisdiction of Bryz's wallet. - Flyskippy

So he played below avg. the night he had was by all accounts an aberration, unfortunately this season the same cannot be said for Bryz. |

There was no gong show in net this weekend. And Bobrovsky played well in a loss last Thursday. - MJL
just when you think we are getting steady goaltending, we go back to the soft goals. I dunno about the lucic one, but the paille goal was a crusher...exactly what we paid to get away from and have had to deal w/ all season.
on another note, the d zone coverage was wretched - another motif for this yr. |

We're not talking about the season we're talking about the game.
And coming into the game most would still agree he's the best goalie in the game, yet he allowed the same amount of goals on a similar amount of shots. One goal against Bryzgalov should have been disallowed because a penalty happened right before it which led to a prime scoring opportunity. Furthermore the Flyers have a handful of Rookies and AHL call ups playing due to losing three of their top six forwards and their main defenseman/captain. The Bruins for all intents and purposes have an intact roster.
If the Best goalie in the game is gonna have a similar performance than I think its really harsh to blame it all on Bryzgalov. |

Wow, you laid money down on a Bob eh? I guess it's no worse than all the folks who laid down money on a Richards or Carter. |

I know! Just a shame my Hartnell jersey is "in the shop." My parents bought me a real nice black home jersey a few years back but the E in Hartnell is peeling off. My wife just ordered glue and thread the other day to remedy it. I wore my Poulin #20 instead. Hopefully, Hartsy's jersey will be playoff ready. - Flyskippy
hartnell doesn't fit here anymore.

Do you mean the Campbell goal? There were some breakdowns, but overall an improvement from the Isles game. I'm very happy with the game today.

This is just like the posts back in 09/10 that we didn't need Carter in the playoffs. We need Briere. He is a top playoff performer. And one of the team's best offensive players. I don't understand the logic of not needing one of your players. I guess we don't need Jagr or JVR, so let's trade them also. - MJL
Briere is rendered useless many nights against the rangers and bruins. We matched boston physically today for the first time since he playoff comeback |
