Wow, you laid money down on a Bob eh? I guess it's no worse than all the folks who laid down money on a Richards or Carter. - rockychocbill
yep. first non-lindbergh in a long, long time. i like the kid. not going to worry about his future. he's a flyer right now, and i look forward to every game he plays.

Briere is rendered useless many nights against the rangers and bruins. We matched boston physically today for the first time since he playoff comeback - Just5
No player is rendered useless. There is no such thing in Hockey.
They got another PP goal on a BS penalty call on Voracek. - MJL
I thought the Lucic goal was a good noncall on Horton. If it was anywhere else on the ice, I would be fuming for a pick. That was at the blue line, incidental.

Never underestimate the stupidity of a fanbase. - Jsaquella
I just can't get over how people think because you throw money at a goalie that he now suddenly stops everything and anything. I'm sorry people it just doesn't work that way, the team still has to play in front of him. He made a bunch of saves to keep the team in the game. When we had boucher in there it got out of hand last year. And Boucher had a better lineup in front of him than Bryzgalov had today. Has the guy played crappy at times this year season, yes. But he's also a goalie who made his name playing behind two defensively sound teams unlike this one. Oh and there was a lame ass penalty called in overtime that could have lost us the game, instead he played good enough to push it to overtime. If this was any other goalie I think the fanbase would be tickled pink I really do.

Do you mean the Campbell goal? There were some breakdowns, but overall an improvement from the Isles game. I'm very happy with the game today. - MJL
I wanted 3 pts out of this wkend and we got them. how we got them was also impressive...prob was the Campbell goal. I was switching back and forth between the gms.

If you score 5 on Tim Thomas you have to win, he doesn't let in 5 very often so when he does you need to take advantage.
I didn't think he was very good either but he was good enough to get 2 pts - Buts16
I wonder, has thomas lost a game in Philly yet?
BTW i completely missed it, but some people here talked about it. I think the reason Klode gave a look after he scored was because he felt Timothy tripped him...

Where it was at on the ice is irrelevant. It was a definite pick. It makes it worse being at the blueline, not better.

Yea but you can't dimiss the team he plays behind either. If they get caught in a shoot out like they did today best believe your goalie is gonna get his doors blasted off too. One good call by an official today and the Flyers win.

when an illegal play results in that kind of scoring chance, the refs have to call it.

Refs evened it up in the 3rd. Flyers had chances to win the game
