The injuries are really stgarting to mount, but I am happy that both Sestito and Shelley are playing today. The reckless Bruins will no doubt kill one of our guys, so we'll need the extra goons to deal with it.

Win or lose, I really want the Flyers to stand up and show the B's that we're not just going to roll over and die like the 6-0 beat down.

Like I said, I like the optimism. But Sestito is what he is. Briere is a top player on the team. I'd rather have Briere in the lineup.

Shelley can fight Lucic... Sestito can take on Chara and lose. Chara's a freak and no one in the NHL can handle him IMO.

Agreed. This is a huge positive thing. For a guy who's considered to not be a great fighter, I thought Shelley held up well against Chara. Chara had to hug him to the ice.

That was a great tradeoff. We're going to Miss Briere and Jagr for sure, but if we're gonna lose, at least we should go down with a fight.

Would be a great addition for the Flyers. But he's a real value for his Cap hit, so I don't see why the Jets would deal him.

I agree. Don't go down meekly like the last time. I'm okay if they lose the game today, as long as they play well and compete.

It may not have had a bearing on the game the last time. But having Chara in the box for 5 minutes gives the Flyers an opportunity to try and take advantage of it.
