Most people sh1t on it, but I loved it.

Anyway, Hall apologized on the Oilers site. He's a good guy, no matter what you numpties say. Love his passion... You can't teach sh1t like that. They were bag skated, and they seem to realize that they deserved it. Like Hordi said. It's a good lesson. If we're not going to work hard during the game, we'll be forced to work hard during practice.

So their you go, he apologized so obviously quite a few people weren't impressed with his reaction.

Btw have you seen the Movie Call "A Siberian Film"???
- AlEx_OiL

It's actually called "A Serbian Film"

Just remember you can't unwatch it, just like "1 guy 1 jar" it will scar you for life.

I tend to be of the belief that the isn't a public forum. Normally we wouldn't have even know what he said but Pj Stock pointed it out. it's not like he called out Renneys decision in a post game presser, he said it on the ice in a moment of extreme frustration.

By the way I loved when Stock said he wouldn't do that to coach, I had to comment that of course he wouldn't have been on the ice in the final three minutes of a game to give up an empty net goal.

you don't get it do you. teh idea that they are coming back is almost a zero % chance. anyone and everyone can agree on that.

Renny put his guys out there (Hall being one of them) with the express idea of just going for it. It is all up to them. If this is gonna turn out to be a close game his best players are gonna make it happen. Renny said with his actions, Fuk the defence, just go balls out guys. It is all you.

Renny has been coaching in the NHL since 96-97, he he coached CHL and WHL champions. He won a silver in the Oly in 94 as the coach. Yeah I think his resume is a little more substantial than Hall's in regards to garnering respect.

- OilHorse

Instead of waiting for the final 3 minutes to "try" to give them a chance to win, Renney should have pulled Khabi after the first. Everyone else should have seen that he was not on his game. The fact that he waited until after the 2nd period to do this anyway also baffled me.

I said the same thing that Hall did about 10 seconds before he said it. Most, if not all, fans thought the same thing.

Pulling your goalie with under 3 minutes left when down by 3 is a stupid move, regardless of your team. In the playoffs, or if a win meant you made the playoffs.....maybe, but a nothing game where half of your team is sleeping out there....no point.

Exactly. I don't think a moment of frustration captured on camera should be taken as him being on the record. Only a tool would.

PJ Stock is an idiot.

Oh I'm pretty confident the coach, GM most of his teamates weren't impressed either.

Basically what this boils down to is:

"We like Hall and we don't like Renney so Hall is right!!!"

Hrudey said the same thing.

Face it, it's immature and unproffesional.

He said it on the ice and not to anyone directly. A camera happened to catch it and Stock made it an issue. It's really not anyone's (frank)ing business.

You don't have any idea who liked it or not. Id bet you a lot of the team felt the.exact same way. I'll give you that the coach and GM, probably didn't like it. After that, not so much.

Just have to keep working your whole 'fanboy' angle eh? I'm not one who's been calling for Renneys head. I just think the whole thing has been massively overblown.

Agreed, you are making it over blown with the vigor that you defend the incident.

He was in the wrong, it's not a big deal but he was still in the wrong. Just because you can't admit it, doesn't mean it wasn't wrong.

How is it our business? The only reason we know is because Punching Bag Stock pointed it out.

If that had never happened it would have been something that Renney would have had to deal with in house and I doubt any of us would even know about it.

You just explained why it isn't "no ones business" he did it publicly. If he did it privatly then it wouldn't have been anyones business.

I just realized that Sam Ganger has as many fights this season as Ben Eager does. Someone needs to step up.

You're right, it shouldn't have been anyone business... but unfortunatly the way it was handled made it others business. Anything done in front of millions of people is public.

It shouldn't have been done publicly, but it was. That's the issue.

That Alex oil guy is a (frank)ing idiot.

Guarenteed he is either 10 years old, or its actually Taylor Hall because he is pretty dumb.

Renney seemed to actually have an opinion yesterday during the press conference and he wasn't speaking in neutral platitudes.

So Prv looks like an entirely different player since he got called up.

That was me being sarcastic.

I'm thinking we're in a sticky situation with PRV. If we were to say 'screw it, let's cut ties now' and ship him off, where are we with Lander? You'd hope Lander would be mature about it and keep working hard.

What does Lander have to do with this? These guys will find out fairly quick that just because you have a friend on the team doesn't mean you guys are going to play your whole careers together. They want that let them go back to play in the SEL together.

I meant solely at this part in their careers, especially as Lander is still getting settled into the North American game. Of course, they won't spend their entire careers together. I'm just curious how he'd responsd if PRV was suddenly traded. I'm hoping he'd continue to settle in comfortably and keep on track in terms of his development.

Maybe if Hall wasn't treated with kid gloves and given the key to the city and worshiped as a god he wouldn't act like such a (frank)ing baby. If the team was being managed properly he would be suspended by the team for a game. Public or private it's inappropriate. Renney is his boss and should be treated as such. Stupid move or not, Hall is paid to play and not have an opinion.

If Lander has a problem with losing his pillow talk with MPS then he should be shipped off as well.
