Hemsky may garner a blum or kindl, and he will test the market
Gleason will be pimped out to philly or detroit or something.
Although i'd be willing to trade prospects or picks to carolina for the advantage of trying to sign gleason he will test the market as well I wager - DrinkOil
I'd defintley be up for Kindl.
Blum meh.
We aren't going to get a top 10 pick for Hemsky. So there is really no point in trading for picks/prospects. I don't want another PRV on our hands. If you look outside the top 3-5 in a draft, the other players are usually terrible. Someone in the 15-25 range that is going to get drafted won't come close to Hemsky's #'s. |

Peckham is literally X2 as good as Tuebert.
This is how CLoutier's brain works. If the player is considered a prospect, then he is a sure fire lock to make the team and be better then half the players. But as soon as he sees that prospect actaully play, he realizes he sucks. - Pilgor09
as little a s clouts knows about hockey, it's 10times harder to evaluate young talent, unless they're unreal. |

Tuebert made a great play (even though it was lucky) breaking up a 3 on 1 that would easily have been a goal. At least that kind of makes up for 1 of the goals caused by his stupid penalties.
Peckham just needs to play physical. I haven't seen him try and throw a big hit in (frank)ing months. Once he does though I'm sure everyone will go back to sucking his Richard like they were last year. |

Tuebert is only 22 Peck is 24...Tuebert needs at least 3 more years before we know if he is going to be good or not....Peck 2 more years or less.... - AlEx_OiL
If Tuebert were ever to be an NHL defenseman, he'd be a 3rd pairing or 7th defenseman.
Peckham IMO has already proved he can be a 3rd pairing defenseman. Despite what Richard has said about Peckham, he has actually turned his game around. I think he is leading our defense in +/-. He is also one of our best PKers. |

My point is I think if TUebert were to ever find his groove, he'd be as good as Peckham is now.
Like I said I think Plante will be a much better player than Tuebert in the near future. |

those 2 are the best we can get, how you not like blum? I agree no top15 pick, but still right now this org digs 1st round picks. |

Too bad we did not get Brayden Schenn for Penner last year... we should have packaged Penner and Hemsky for the package we got for Penner but added Schenn I think Lombardi might have done it or even Voynov... Tambo really fuct that up IMO... Schenn seems to be playing well for Philly or at least the other night where he was leveling people and getting pts... |

Blum hasn't really proved anything.
Doesn't seem like anything special to me. Maybe a 2nd pairing defenseman if he learns the ropes. |

Plante was drafted in 07 man that was a while ago, i hope he can finally make it.
outside smid comeback season and gibs rounding out to form ,and the annual oiler prospect making headlines in wjc. we can't say much prasie about any d man on this team. |

I think certain coaches get more miles out of players just like Penner did with Quinn.... Renney is ruining PVR... and to think PVR was a stud at WJC a couple years ago... I think the initials of this team need to be redistributed next year... Ebs at the very least should get an 'A' if not the 'C'... and/or Hall... let Horcoff and Smyth have the other 'A'... |

Plante has no footspeed at all. To be able to play a shutdown game in this new NHL with smaller shifty players, you need to be able to somewhat keep up with them. He's putting up good numbers in OKC though. That could be the gap in talent between the AHL and the NHL, or maybe he's just improved. |

Renney didn't ruin PRV.
Scouting (frank)ed that pick up. He is just terrible. THe best coach in the world couldn't fix that (frank) up. |

For Teubert to be any better needs to be playing more at the NHL level, just the way Peck have done it,but still believe Peck needs more time to become a more reliable D the way Smid it's now....and it took Smid around 4 years to become what it's now a reliable D.....

Plante has gotten alot faster this year. I'd argue that he is even faster than Tuebert right now.
He made the AHL all star team which is a great sign.
I wish we could have gotten Hickey instead of Tuebert in that deal. Obviously we would need to sweeten the pot a bit more. |

I liked Sutton when he is playing and on the ice... he brings a form of stabilty and fear in our backend... I too thought Plante has something to bring in the 6/7 spot for next year too...

we need either a healthy Whitney and_____which will not happen, so we are trading for someone like a Spacek mold and sign the other via UFA |

because our d is terrible and hes part of that,
4th line LW
man that guy is always out of position. he looks awkward skating backward , and yes he's a good pk, because he stands still well. |
