Renney didn't ruin PRV.

Scouting (frank)ed that pick up. He is just terrible. THe best coach in the world couldn't fix that (frank) up.

I don't know about that. His production last year was pretty close to other Europeans like the Sedins and M. Koivu when they first broke in. He probably should've have played in Sweden or OKC last year. He sure hit a wall this year.

Because he (frank)ing sucks... and for the most part Teubert outshines him.. Teubert does have learning to do but he makes some nice plays considering his current ice time and NHL play... peckham has been here the entire season and is about 50/50 when it comes to making the right plays... poop in my last post I forgot about Petry... he has been improving and if we got a top 2 man he may look and play even better... we could swap gilbert for petry and move gilbert up to the top pairing if need be... maybe

Yes he does....the only way a Player gets better is by getting more ice time...Peck was terrible the first couple years and still it's some games but you can see a improvement as well but He's getting better because of the Ice Time he is getting now.....PRV is only in his second year with a Coach that makes him play with Belanger

He is our 4th best defenseman right now. I don't include Whitney because he is going to retire after this year.

It's called being a (frank)ing wussy.

Koivu is a tough dude. Sedins aren't tough persay, but they go into the traffic areas and take a beating. When we have a cycle going, PRV is hanging around the blueline. Watch for it next game.

He keeps himself out of the play.

after this year he has a cap hit of 16.5m and actual salary due of 13m
the year after that he has 11m remain cap hit with 7 million actual cash owing

i remember thinking at the time the deal was structured so that he could be dealt at the end of it

a cash poor team trying to hit the cap floor would be interested in a player with an unbalanced cap hit to cash due ratio it means they spend less

if the cap continues to go up the number of teams looking for extra cap dollars will increase

On the bright side, his issues are mental. He's got the tools to be a player, but doesn't yet have the mindset/courage.... hopefully that will come.
