Since this season doesn't matter anyway, and since the Oil will likely get a clear shot at taking Yakupov in June, why not play Hall or Eberle at center? Maybe Hall could be Messier to Nuge's Gretzky.

Moving a winger to center...you learn nothing trying it for a few games. Give Hall 30 games at center, and then decide if it's an option or not.

This team needs defense and goal-tending more then anything. Size can be acquired.

Larger players who are scorers usually take a couple seasons to really develop and learn how to use their size at this level anyway.

The Taylor Hall thing at the end of game last night was bang on. How many people last night said "what the fack, why's the goalie pulled". I wish all the Oiler forwards other than Eberle and RNH played with Halls emotion and will. Perhaps the team wouldn't suck as much if more players were willing to man up once in a while.

I'd be disappointed if Hall hadn't reacted like that. Strip the "C" off the guy who is taking his $6M payday and give it to kid who is willing to ask the coach "What the (frank) are you thinking?" once in a while.
