He didn't do it publicly. He did it after his genius coach pulled the goalie with 3 fukin minutes in a 5-2 fukin game and he said it to no cameras, no media, nobody. - GuyLaDouche
Agreed, plus who cares about Crosby...Hall is Hall.

I guess you must have a different definition of publicly.
Seriously tough, how often do guys like Crosby or Toews do something like that? |

Hall was the only guy with emotion in that game. He will ( probably already is) be unreal. |

In game I have no idea. I do know that when Fleury was struggling at the start of last season, Crosby was opposed to Bylsma's pulling of Fleury after a bad goal in every start. He publicly stated that he felt it was important for Fleury to play his way through it at the start of the year instead of struggling for the season.

In all honesty. Not buying Oilers tickets will just cost the Oil Kings. The WHL team will fold and force people who wanted a cheaper alternative to pay up for their hockey fix. Already happened once with the Edmonton Ice. Oilers SOS campaign and Edmonton Ice went to Kootenay. As soon as the demand for hockey grew they brought back a WHL team to cater to the people wanting an affordable alternative. Sucks, but the Oilers own the WHL team and thus they monopolize the hockey entertainment industry in Etwon. |

I really don't get your absolute hate for Peckham. His game has gotten much better since last year. You've nagged on him for taking dumb penalties in previous blogs yet still say Teubert is better than him when he takes 3 dumb penalties in one game. Peckham has taken all of 4 minor penalties in the last 15 games, he has a plus/minus of 0, and in last nights game he made a nice defensive play to stop a flame scoring chance (by Iginla I believe). |

Peckham needs more time at least 2 more years before we know if He is going to be good, just like Smid did,I believe it was 4 years for Smid to become the type of reliable D he is now....Petry is going to be a good one but I think he is going to take another 2 years too...

How dare he show emotion on the ice. He should definitely just be a quiet zombie instead and blindly assume and act like everything is ok.
(frank) sakes..you defend guys like Horcoff and Belanger and Renney constantly, and then criticize Hall for saying, on ice and not consciously publicly, what everyone was fukin thinking. Your priorities are ass backwards my friend. Hall is probably the drop dead last person on the Oilers that should be.criticized. |

As usual you are too busy running around like a little fan boy trying to defend your favorites to actually understand what is being discussed.
Ben said he liked what Hall did, and that Horc should be stripped of the C to give it to Hall.
So I asked Ben what if some of the best captains in the league would do what Hall did.... of course the answer is no.
I don't give a poop that Hall did what he did, but it's not something the good captains around the league would do.... he's clearly too immature at this point of his career to lead. |

Reading some of the comments on TSN is making me quite happy. People are definitely voicing their dislike for the vets, and their lack of effort... Hopefully some of our vets are able to read. |

Sure if thats how you want to look at it.
Personally I can understand why he was upset. Renney basically gift wrapped a hattrick for a Flames player. For what, the off chance that the Oilers might manage to score more than 2 goals for once. I even said "There is no point in pulling the goalie" when Renney did. So I can be pretty sure that if I was on the ice when Stempniak put it in I would have said the same thing as Hall, the only difference is that I might have use some more adult language.
It was a stupid decision by Renney and I don't hold it against Hall for questioning it. More Oilers should show attitude like that. |

Yet he'd be a much better choice than Horcoff. At least Hall isn't dogging it out there every game like our vets. |
