You can't compare Hall to Crosby they have 3 things in common. They are Canadian, they were both #1 picks and they both play in the NHL. Outside of that there is no way to compare the two of them.

And if Crosby screamed something like that after Bylsma pulled their goalie down three in a meaningless regular season game, I'd be happy he did it then too.

Well someone has to step into the leadership role. Because whatever Horcoff has been doing isn't what a leader does. It shouldn't fall to a 20 year old, 2nd year player to be the heartbeat of the team unless they have Gretzky, Lemieux, Lindros, Crosby or Ovechkin talent.

You knew you were still gonna suck this year so who cares how you look while you do it? It's all about losing most nights and letting young guys get ice time. This year is another development write off so let go. It doesn't matter just look forward to the hockey news draft preview and enjoy the draft.

As for the dramatic ripping the "C" of a players chest like its a football movie, I come from the idea of that wearing the "C" is a right, not a privledge. Just because Horcoff has been around for a while and has had the "C" for two years doesn't mean he should keep it. I'd be happy seeing it go to either Hall or Eberle for reasons I have already made clear.

San Jose had no problem pulling all the letters two seasons ago. I know it was during training camp but it forced the players to earn the their letters not just be given them because they had been their a while and made lots of money.

I think Ebs would probably be ready for it start of next year, Hall in another year or two after that.
