Well, what response could you make? - MBFlyerfan
This isn't a political forum and I've already said more than I should have. I'm done. You should be too. Lets keep it to hockey. It is better that way anyway. |

I doubt they know who the president is. I don't even know if they have a president in Czechloslovakia why should jagr know who the president is here? |

Seen a mock draft for the upcoming 2012 Hockey Draft.
Obviously its early and things can change but they have the Flyers selecting Michael Matheson.

Some info on the kid. - stveshdy
The mock drafts I have seen have as many as 15 dmen being taken in the first round. It's supposedly a very deep draft.

That country doesn't exist anymore - may want to buy a world map printed in the 2000's |

It's a moot point, the Flyers first is going to be shipped out at the deadline in part of one of those Blockbuster-HockeyBuzzian deals. |

ok tough guy - again I have no doubt you would have said that to the president's face with the secret service staring down at you. Maybe throw a shoe too? - ukeman
I have respect for the office so I'd have probably used less colorful language than "you suck donkey balls" but I'd have told him that I thought he was a presidential screw up. Politicians are there to serve the people and they deserve to hear what the people think. I am politically active at the state level where I live. I have sat down in the offices of state senators and state reps and spoke my mind. I am not afraid to let them know when I strongly disagree with them. Congratulations for calling me out on my colorful language...oh my, you got me now!..."tough guy". |

If he's a defenseman, and the Flyers pick him in the first round, chances are that he's a stiff. |

I was being sarcastic. I couldn't friggin care less if Tim Thomas goes to see the President or not.
I highly doubt it will ruin Barry's day. Still plenty of time to work on his NCAA brackets afterwards and save us all from ourselves. |

Saw Cody Ceci this weekend in Ottawa, that's a kid I'd move up to draft. Was outstanding in every phase you could think of. Good size, skating, hands, in all 3 zones, power play, PK, positionally. |

So you would have used a team event congratulating you and your teammates to voice your opinions? How does that go - "hello Mr. president - hate your policies - smile for the camera"? Sounds like the appropriate time and place.
They may deserve to hear what people think but they don't listen or act on it anyway. |

Then Gleason will be in Carolina, cause no team is giving that up. |
