ovechkin is out for the ASG. no reason given. wonder if his suspension has anything to do with it? - hammarby31
(frank)ing crybaby. I am starting to dislike him for the way he acts. I always liked his game, but he is full of himself beyond what even a superstar should be. Unless he is doing the honorable thing because he didn't deserve to be there in the first place this season.

i may hate her more than angelo. at least with angelo, you know it's shtick. pretty sure rhea is actually that stupid. - OrangeBlack27
Ya know what's funny is I think all the WIP people ripping Bryz were the same ones that wanted the Flyers to sign Leighton to a similar deal after the Montreal series. |

If your expecting Couturier to be like a Brindy or a Handzus I think your really under estimating him. I see him more like a Brad Richards type of player. - RooNosHockey
Expecting Couturier to be like Brind'Amour isn't underestimating him at all. Brind'Amour in his prime is a better all around player then Brad Richards is. I don't see Richards as a good comparison. Not saying that he'll get to this level, but the best comparison in my view is Jonathon Toews. |

Does Brad Richards know centers can skate below their own faceoff dots? |

Maybe the league will let Semin take his place for a few reasons:
1) appeases the DC fanbase
2) Semin is a perfect fit for a no-hit, no-effort game |

If Couturier turns out to be as good a player as Brind'Amour was, then I'll be ecstatic. The more I think about it. Brind'Amour is a great comparison for Couturier. It's a lofty goal, but I think the kid is special. |

He is special and Brindy's a great player to be compared to. Cooter has only gotten better all year, not worse *knock on wood. He just impresses me more and more everytime I watch him. |

Kid has a way to go, but yes - I could see it. He's already got the PK work down.
I imagine he will never be said to possess "concrete hands" as I heard folks say about Brindy. |

So Kaberle went to the White House and Thomas didn't. - rockychocbill
I keep reading this quote from Thomas,
"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People. This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.
Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.
This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT"
and I still don't get why he couldn't go to the White House? Edit Sorry, don't want to get into a political argument. Just don't get his reasoning. |

I would hope he becomes like a Toews, but I see Schenn more like Toews. I do expect him to be better then Brindy. At the end Brindy became more of a defensive player, and I see Couturier becoming offensively skilled. |
