I can agree with that to a point. Why they do this crap midseason is beyond me anyways. - nikoli1206
They play Washington today, so it's convenient.
A bunch of Canadians and a Slovak going to be congratulated on their hockey prowess by a Hawaiian. There's a joke in there somewhere. |

In response to Tim Thomas not attending, Dave Hodge of TSN wrote on his twitter account "Don't know if it's fair to point this out, but Tim Thomas has three children named Kiley, Kelsey and Keegan" - Lohaus
well, that rates as the stupidest comment ive yet heard in a day filled w/ them. |

David Polie was in attendance at the Admirals game today in Peoria. Taking in the game for fun since he was in town? Or looking over his trade chips come deadline time? Also Blummer looked pretty mediocre and took a dumb penalty that swung the game today but as per usual had flashes of his playoff self from last year. He was paired with Teemu. Also Beck is looking pretty good. Lets get a win tonight, although it may be tougher than it seems. I dont want to hear any blackhawk fan trash talking tonight up here in IL. |

Nice blog, Paul.
Unfortunately billions of dollars are being spent every year to keep America dumb, frightened, and therefore divided.
It's good business for some.
See y'all tonight at the UC. Leave those stupid whistles behind, will ya? - John Jaeckel

So what's up with Geoffreon? His stats are not looking all that good in Milwaukee. |

I will take Mr. Thomas at his carefully chosen words on Facebook and I appreciate that he says he would’ve done this no matter what the party of the President.
I'm having trouble with this. Not going to the White House regardless of the party affiliation of the incumbent President? Then why Mr. Thomas, why did you not join your team? That's why some deduce racism. Not to excuse Mr. Hodge, but I would like to hear from Mr. Thomas if not for politics, then really why? |

It was only my second Ads game i've been to as the drive to Peoria is shorter than Milwaukee. I drive down to Nashville 6 or 7 times a year from up here in Central Il and have center ice so im much more versed on the preds than the ads. That said Blake was a scratch today but I don't know whether to look into it much because the game was at 10am. In the prior game Blake looked up to speed and dominant but couldnt buy a goal it seemed. His stats are pretty nasty though. The top line of Wilson, Mules and Beck looked on their game. Smith got dominated on second chance shots. |

He's a libritarian and Tea Party guy. He doesn't like either major party. |

So everyone that is letting Thomas exercise his "freedom of speech" for voicing his opinion on politics and taking a stand, wants Hodge fired for his "freedom of speech" in a twitter message that was an obvious joke.? - fiveandagame
Excellent point. Whats good for the goose, is good for the gander. |

Dave Hodge should be fired for posting that crap. It's disgusting to make such an accusation for his line of profession. - HTRmikster
If you followed Hodge on Twitter you'd know that type of thing is merely tongue-in-cheek, which he displays often. Laugh once in awhile, you'll live longer. |

What freaking irony! Thomas is the guy making hate because he says the Federal government has been growing beyond it mandate. And he is contributing to the divide...Really???
Disagree with Obama or lib and you are racist or a hater. The billions of dollars being spent that some reference are the tax dollars funding public education. Which promote the liberal agenda.
The amount of economically illiterate people in this country is staggering...

Let see him joke around about Subban or the banana debacle. Those too are tasteless events that are not funny.
What many do not understand is that many average conservative people in US are tired of having leaders who are not interested in defending their people from the accusations and labels bestowed upon them by MSM and demcrat party.

Mr. McCann, I salute you. John Adams, during the founding of this nation and soon thereafter attempted to ensure that there would be no political parties. His fear, as he stated, was that political parties lead to person's allegiance to their country being trumped by their allegiance to party. This, my hockey fan friends, is historical fact, documented in McCullough's excellent, pulitzer prize winning biography of Mr. Adams.
A visit to the White House is nothing more than a celebration of your accomplishment with the arguable head of the most powerful country in the world. Based on most of the Marines I know, I assure you few Marines are Obama fans, but they appear for their medal ceremonies.
Our world is a better place because sport can unite folks from different beliefs and backgrounds. The fact that a star player cannot put aside differences for 30 minutes and shake the hand of a fellow American to celebrate a victory is a shame to what I had thought was Thomas' otherwise grand story. Whether his beliefs are right or wrong indeed has nothing to do with it, we should still engage in the friendly, across-the -aisle communication that created this country. |

Good win. After games on back to back nights, Preds looked totally gassed by the end of this one. Lucky to catch Chicago when both Toews and Sharp were out. |

Nothing like an empty netter to pad the PP%
I just hope the long break doesn't kill the momentum the Preds have going right now.
And of course St. Louis can't have the decency to lose in regulation. |
