The Predators will likely be tied for 4th overall in the NHL in points, a mere 3 points from being the best at the All-Star Break. Mr. Suter, please explain to me how that represents something other than an interest in winning. What is your real reason for not signing a contract?

David Polie was in attendance at the Admirals game today in Peoria. Taking in the game for fun since he was in town? Or looking over his trade chips come deadline time? Also Blummer looked pretty mediocre and took a dumb penalty that swung the game today but as per usual had flashes of his playoff self from last year. He was paired with Teemu. Also Beck is looking pretty good. Lets get a win tonight, although it may be tougher than it seems. I dont want to hear any blackhawk fan trash talking tonight up here in IL.

TT's actions have nothing to do with him playing for Team USA or not. Its not like the guy is a neo-Nazi for Chist sakes. The guy thinks that our nations management is garbage and saw no reason to go and shake their hand. Its his opinion and option to do what he did. It doesn't make him anti-American...if anything it makes him more American than most people act anymore.

Sorry for joining the conversation late, but I found it odd that no one seems to be remembering or mentioning that when the St Louis Cardinals went to the White House a little over a month ago, that neither Pujols or LaRussa were there. Neither of them were being attacked for being racist or anything like that. I don't recall people calling them disrespectful of the President or the presidency. Why the double standard (or did I miss something)? He's certainly not the only American ready to throw out all the politicians in D.C. and start over from scratch...

Thomas was in Washington withthe rest of the Bruins, he just refused to go and then he put up a politacl statement on his Facebook page. Pujols was on a humanitarian mission in the Dominican Republic and LaRussa was retired. These are explainable excuses, even if they had political motivations behind avoiding the photo-op.
