The Flames are exactly the kind of team I could see overpaying for secondary scoring. Their GM doubled down on "winning now" when quite a few voices believed they should blow it up and rebuild, and currently they're on the outside looking in. He'll have to make something happen to justify his stance.

I have to agree. Outside Taveras, Okposo(honestly would'nt have said this two months ago), Moulson, and Martin(love the kid) there isn't anyone. Streis play has been deplorable and at times down right disgusting. Last night he was God awful. His decision making with the puck this year has been terrible. There very well may be a team out there who may over pay for him even with his current play, I would'nt hesitate to trade him.

Streit and Nielsen have been a big letdown especially. Isles need to change the mix on this team. Too many soft players. PA I would not just give away but he should be available in the right deal. I have no problem trading Nabby.

word has it Streit is on the block. He's been awful this year. That said, we lack the defensive depth to give someone like that up without getting a dman in return.

Heard the reason why Kane is unhappy is because he likes being the main, go to guy. Pretty sure that this is and will be Tavares team for years to come. Kane would fit in a place like LA or Calgary, not the Islanders

went to the bport game last night...Casey Cizikas continues to impress me in all aspects of his game and he will be pushing for a roster spot if not at the end of this year then surely next season. You guys are going to love this kid...Also Matt Donovan is really coming along and had a gorgeous snipe of a goal last night..I don't think Cizikas will be a scoring stud but what he brings to the table will surely help the islanders
