paging Mr. Shannahan....that was one hell of an unpenalized cheapshot! - keaner17
Tavares tried a little too hard to sell it, but regardless of that it was a blatant penalty. |

I can't think of a team that knocks other teams players into their own goaltender more than the Isles |

Jeez, Rolston, the only thing worse than flubbing a good pass on the rush is standing in the zone offsides for 10 seconds afterward. Please, Cappy, spare us from having to watch this guy so much. |

This entire game was a joke. The refs are a complete joke. And Toronto fans complaining about our players "cross checking" is the funniest thing ever. |

Four highsticks, multiple trips, a punch to the face and it's all (apparently) legal. |

Officiating has been a joke the entire season. Refs have cost games for every team so deal with it. |

I agree with this, but you have to agree with the fact McDonald got high sticked right in the face right in front of the officials, and then two minutes after that Bailey gets taken down in the offensive zone. Both obvious missed calls. |

That just took a funky bounce that he wasn't expecting. It was a terrible goal but I'll chalk that up to a fluke more than anything else.
Wow after seeing the high angle replay Phaneuf really cashed it in early on that play. Holy hell what was he thinking? |

They can make a feature length movie on him for all I care, as long as he keeps scoring big goals like that |

Well, it makes perfect sense that the game end on a rush due to a turnover from yet another blatant takedown. This was the worst case of whistles in the pocket I've seen this year.

I can't take this god damn team. Every time I get pulled back in they crap the bed. 2 goal lead, late in the 2nd period...no excuse, you have to win that game. In regulation. Toronto's 3rd goal was a fluke, but then again, ours was, too.
This one line team crap has to stop. I don't care how many of you yell for continuity, Capuano needs to be fired. I could coach this (frank)ing team to be where it is now. There are a lot of guys that keep getting played despite their best efforts to be kept off the ice, and our buffoon of a coach (and GM, I guess) are happy to play guys because of their salary. |
